When last year the last puppy left for his new home, the reunion seemed sooo far...
The first date set for the reunion coorresponded to their first birthday. Everybody was excited about the second may weekend when we meet at Helfstyn castle. Becouse of the corona mess the reunioin could only take place the first summer holiday weekend. One would say it was supposed to be this way as everything worked for our good.
Saturday morning 4th July was sunny with an azure sky although few days before it had rained intensively. All the puppies met at their homeland except for jessica (Flo) whose owners did not want to leave Austria for the corona restrictions which I understand. After familiarization and huge dog's games in the garden we headed for a little trip. For my whippet family I prepared a pleasant walk to Hradek chalet 650 m altitude and 4,8 km far from my house. Hiking in humid conditions and quite high temps was a bit complicated for some but everybody survived and reached the chatel bar where we quenched our thirst with beer and softs. We occupied all spots in shadow and ordered our meal.
Our whippet party was a great attraction for other tourists. We were 13 adults in ninmer, 6 children and 11 whippets. After one hour meal break we decided to continue farther above the chalet where is an old quarry vista with a wonderful view of the village Hradek. We moved on to Filipka Hill where is situated the St. Isidore of Madrid Bell Tower. St. Isidore is a potron of married couples, chiůdren and farmers. The Bell Tower was built in 2012 and consecrated by bishop František Václav Lobkowic and many newlyweds choose it as their vow spot. There are two bells in the Bell Tower. The bigger bell rings every hour and the smaller one that is placed in a patron bust will fulfiil your wish if you ring it because St. Isidor's life is full of miracles and healing. There is a note for every visitor carved into the stone. "If you ring once you will live happily ever after." The amazing impression of that place is emphasized by a beatiful view and we decided to take a group picture there.
In the beginning I planned to continue to the Filipka chalet but because of the heat I decided to return but we chose a different itinerary. We also stopped at our chalet in Hradek which was occupied by Lyra's (Liza) owners who decided to stay longer and discover beauty of our region. The seemed to enjoy it and according to their words it was not the last visit.
On the way back home we walked swiftly and we already saw ourselves relax. On our patio everybody took place and we evaluated our day. All that accompanied by tirerless whippets running around but finally tham also lied down. After all thesemarry chats two families realized that they had already met in the past at a common wedding. The world is really small. In the afternoon people started to leave for their homes as everybody had their obligations and I stayed there with my thoughts and the good feeling that the event was successful and might become a tradition.

The third month ends soon so how about training shows...
I have to state that Kaya does not take after her mother. To set him to stand was a fight. When I forced him to stand straight in front, back legs did whatever they wanted and vice versa. Walking on show lead was much better but as every puppy Kaya as well walked his style. We quite laughed with girls.
And the girls got homework - to train, train and once more train. It will be certainly much better next time...
2nd June 2020 - It is unbelivable but Kaya our only baby and orphan from B litter has been in his new home for already one month. He is only 12 weeks. He is celebrating The Life that did not start so happily but is about to continue at perfection. The new owner worships Kaya and I am just sad that I cannot hear that worship of all puppies that were in Karlyn's tummy.

Kaya got used to new home easily. It is true that he had known his new owners long before but still an all it was all natural. Very early he underrstood where his toilet is and was able to ask for it. He was walking on leash (pic. 2), learnt a new city that he hadn't seen before. Very soon he shall be living in village again. The city experience can be taken as a part of socialization. Truly, Kaya is the son of his mother. He eats and sleeps a lot as Karlyn did (pic. 1 and 3). He has his beds and when he is tired as he used to do in his former ¨house, he takes a nap without demanding a company.

As I said before, the owner is also my friend so I can see Kaya every week and observe his growth an evolution. Today's visit was accompanied by beautiful weather and he could enjoy outdoors with my whippet girls while rediscovering places he knows alreaddy perfectly (pic. 4). Nooks in the rock garden and secret places of the hedge (pic. 5), a clearing by wood, where on Karlyn's tomb the daisies have bloomed (pic. 6)... Literally immediately the scenery of their everday joys reappeared when Berroo sisterred him and supported his mischiefs (pic. 7) and Valentina took on her a role of an auntie - mum and tried to calm and raised him up (pic. 8). It was a great and joyful spectacle.

What to say?
I am so delighted to have been able to get with Kaya thus far and he is a brave, sturdy, intelligent and above all healthy dog! I cannot wait to see him grow and spent other moments together.
I can see Karlyn in his expression more and more as the days go by...

29th April 2020 - Our little blondies are one year old. The have grown up as beautiful dogs as you can see in the picture above. They are all even tempered, very friendly, smart and above all they are healthy. I want to thank all owners for their care and love and I wish the many more years of love!
22nd April 2020 - Malý "Kaya", a complete name Belong Karlyn Heart Baya Nobles, grows as a beautiful dog. He is alone without any siblings but he doesn't mind. He is very curious, tactile and very smart puppy that happily discovers the garden on Berroo's and Valentina's side. They became friends especially Berroo grew fond of him and loves playing with him. She also shares her bed with him Valentina too the role of a tutor and tries to calm down this little bundle of joy.
The future owner comes to see Kaya regularly, they get to know each other and get used to each other so that he can leave for his new home in approximately three weeks time. He will live not far away and he will always be a member of "Baya Nobles party". I am very excited to see Kaya in show circles in future.
It was a difficult choice either to maintain him or to find him new owners. Finally, I decided to find him a new loving family-people who I know well and meet regularly. Hopefully I succeeded.

Little Kaya is already home since a few days. Kaya is a beautiful chubby and kind puppy that fulfils the hole after a tragic death of our beloved Karlyn.
I always mention Kaya as an orphan but it is not so true. He lost his mummy and nine siblings but he still has his daddy. The father of litter B is a great, soft, calm and noble dog Leonardo da Vinci Whiteheads. I am very happy to have chosen him as the father of the litter B and I am very delighted to be in contact with the owner and we became friends. Little Kaya takes beauty after his daddy.
His visit went perfect but I have to admin that more than interested in his son, hewas interested in our ladies.
7th March 2020 - A tragic event that stroke us all ended up partially happily. The new born puppy boy, the only one survived in litter B, is strong enough to be transported to his substitute nursing bitch. After coming back home, he will be raised up at our kennel with other whippet girls. More information in the "Puppies"

Fiercely expected show. The show with a friendly atmosphere and an appreiated judge Paul Coelho of Portugal, da Roseira Brava kennel breeder, spesialist in whippets.
It is incredible that Valentina was capable to gain a very difficult open class which was occupied by seven beautiful and externally equal bitches. We god the mark excellent 1 with CWC/CAC and great evaluation. And the icing on the cake was Res.CACIB.
Valentina fulfilled the conditions the Polish Beauty Champion, but unfortunately in less than 6 months, which is one of the conditions. So we will have to get one more title after April to fulfil the last condition. But it doesn't change anything as Valentina mastered gaining an international show in such a big competition. I am so proud of her.

31th January 2020 - The screening picture confirming Karlyn's pregnancy.
As for the 25th day of her pregnancy, embryos measure approximately 12 mm. According to the doctor we can expect a numerous litter. We are able to catch 11 little balls! Of course everything can change and some emybryos can still be absorbed.
The birth date is set on 8th March.
Cross your fingers so that everything goes smoothly!
