22nd January 2023 - I hesitated a lot whether to keep Loki with us or not. He is an incredible dog. But the common sense took a relay and Loki left with my friend Petra for Slovakia. Zilina, which is a few tens of minutes away from my place. Whenever I wish, I just can pass by. He will live his best life as Petra would do anything for her prts. He will stay at a big detached house with a garden and another dog buddy. Hes name will not change that much, they will call him Lucky. I might talk his new owner into taking part in shows although she is not fond of them at all. But never say never.
My honey, I cannot wait to see you grow into a beautiful dog.
Loki was the last puppy of the litter "E" who left the nest and our house feels so empty now...

14th January 2023 - Our biggest imp Nanna left for Slovenia on Saturday afternoon with a sweet family. She will live in Maribor with a whippet friend Aura. She will enjoy mountains and the Adriatic beaches and will bear a new name Vega. She will surely participate in a competition too because she is a great-looking nd it would be such a pity not to show her to the world.
I hope to meet you one day, my lovely munchkin.

13th January 2023 - The Friday 13th is mostly connected to the bad luck. This does not go for our tiniest Saga and her new family. The ones who decided to pick her up on this day did a great choice. Saga will live in Pardubice with my friend's family and the owner of our Valentina's sister. Saga will grow up and play aroun wit her auntie and they will become a funny duo. Stormi is the name they chose for her and she will get used to the show as well.
We will meet in show circles, honey.

12th January 2023 - A while after Frigg went away from home the incredible Thor. He will help Zora to overcome a tragic loss of Olin. They will be a super couple and I already see how great they cooperate. Tori, it is his new name, and he already gets ready for a show career. The fact that he lives in a nearby Havířov, I can see him quite often.
I am curious to see what you and Zora will achieve.

12th January 2023 -A Thursday afternoon belong to Frigg's farewell. She left for Vysočina to the vet's family where she will occupy a detached house with a garden and as well as her siblings she will gain two-leg friends to play with. Her name will not change she will always Riga. She will also have a dog friend, what to ask more.
I cannot wait to see your inteligent expresion again, Frigg. No one has ever looked at me this way.

10th January 2023 - On Tuesday afternoon we passed on Odin to the super family of my friend Jana. Odin will live in Opava an a house with a garden and he will have two little friends to have fun with. He will be called Easy. They will certainly have a lot of fun because Odin is incredibly cuddly and a jolly fellow.
I cannot wait to see you again, baby Odin.

6th January 2023 - As the second one to leave the nest was Idunn. She left a few hours after Edda with an amazing breeder from Poland. She will become a part of a big pack of whippets and dachshunds and we will certainly meet in show circles. She will have a fairy-tale life sleeping with the owners, accompanying them to jobs and being non-stop in their company. She will get the life that every breeder wishes for his puppy.
Whiskey, this is her new name, I cannot wait to see you back at show. We will surely meet back in Poland.

6th January 2023 - Somebody must be the first one. This year it was Edda's turn. She left today in the morning with a fine family from Velké Losiny who live in a deteched house with a garden. She will have two little two-leg friends to play with. She will for sure enjoy them a lot. She will keep her name. She will surely grow into a pretty whippet young lady that I might meet at a show.
Be happy my silver sugar, we will see each other soon.

Last Shooting at Eight Months
5th January 2023 - The last shooting of posture pistures. This time it went great. It is visible that the puppies carry the genes of show parents and they can show to be beautiful. Following pictures of all puppies containing character description at theri 8 months as much precise as I Was able to note down. All the litter is very even concerning the character. All of them are fearless, kind and sweet.
Eternal Loki Baya Nobles - "LOLEK"
The first-born, amazing and of a very even character. A very laid-back gay that does not make a fuss. A dog with a slightly bitch expresion but a stuhy physique. We have a good assumption of a perfect exterior.
Eternal Frigg Baya Nobles - "RIGA"
The second-born that looked that would be a strudy bitch and finally grew out of it. Her temper is very strange. She is very caution with new things, she does not undertake adventure but in her familiar surroundings she can literally become a dragon and show to her siblings that she can turn the tables.
Eternal Nanna Baya Nobles - "NANI"
She was born as the third puppy in a row, a bitch with a great physique for such a tiny creature. An absolute angel when talking about her temper that is not afraid of anythong, very tactile and direct. I see a great potential for shows and breeding.
Eternal Edda Baya Nobles - "ÉĎA"
One of non-brindle puppies that was born as the fifth one. In the beginning she was a smaller bitch but with a big appetite she easily caught with others. She is quite a monkey with no problem to do any monkey businnes but as others siblings, very tactile and likeable.
Eternal Saga Baya Nobles - "SÁGI"
She saw the wolrd as the seventh one in a row and she is the second non brindle bitch. Since her birth, her expression predestinated her to be a sweetheart and she indeed is Despite her strong appetite she gained less compared to her sisters but she will catch on her weight for sure. Again, a very equilibrated and tectile puppy.
Eternal Idunn Baya Nobles - "WHISKY"
The last one to see the light of the world was this bitch. In the beginning she had difficulties to gain weight but when we eliminated breastfeeding and included solids, she perfectly caught on her siblings. Her character is very equilibrated, she is a fearless bich with no problem to undertake any kind of adventure. She has a very similar physique to Nanna and once again I can see a great breeding and show potential.
Eternal Odin Baya Nobles - "ODÍK"
The last boy of the litter and the sixth one in a row. The boy wit a sweet temper, a total pet and a slacker who loves man's company. I the beginning he looked like he would be a sturdy guy but with time he equilibrated and became a standard dog with a high show potencial.
Eternal Thor Baya Nobles - "TORI"
He came as the fourth one and he was always my favorite concerning his look. Perfect head and body proportions predestinate him to participate in shows and in the future hopefully for breeding. In the beginning a very kind puppy which with growth gained on mischiefs. So he became a fearless laid back boy who can get what he wants.

Eight Weeks And Set Sail ...
5th January 2023 - The layette is ready and two of us will leave for new homes tomorow. The first ones to leave are Edda and Idun and the rest of the imps will leave during the next week.
The eighth week was as usual in the name of photo shooting and when the weather permitted (which did as on the New Year's Day there was 14 degrees with a sun) discovering the outside world. Otherwise it was a typical week of eating, sleeping and playing. The babies are quite active and it is high time to train them. But I pass it over to their owners.

Seventh Week Is Here
29th December 2022 - The seventh week is always a week of chippong, vaccinating and vet check-up. the babies were exemplary and the vet did not stop to praise them. Most time in the surgrry they slept in their animal carrier, anyhow. They almost did not notice vaccinating and chipping itself. The hearts beat as bell and the boy's testicles are where they are supposed to be.
This week we were finally able to head outside and discover a bit the world around the house. The firdst steps around the house were quite uncertian but it did not last long and all of them statred to fool around as if they had always done it. And when the sun went down, let us get in and jump over the sofas.

Six Week Already, Show Must Go On
22nd December 2022 - Once approaching Christmas the house became a bundle af dog rascals. This year's Chirtmas will be in the name of huge chaos because to maintain the house in a Christmas atmosphere a bit is virtually impossible. Christmas decor is very limited and the Christmas tree is outside on a patio. This is the way it looks like here. But the puppies are everywhere. They love heating themselves on the fur in front of the fireplace. They are whippets in all their splendor!
At six weeks we regularly take posture pictures of the pupies. This year a usual I was helped by my friend Lenka and I have to say it went quite quickly. The tiny monkeys are very apt and with a few exceptions it was done in a jiffy.

Five Weeks - Little Discoverers
15th December 2022 - At this age the puppies start to feel bored and limited in the dog pen and the time came to let them out and show around the house. First steps out of the pen were unstable but they did not need much time to start to run around the house with no fear. They are super kind and when they get tired they get bach in the pen and fall asleep.
Everything they do throughout the day is just a whirl of eating, sleeping, playing, running around and pooing everywhere. They all started to eat solids and they drink Valentina's milk just once/twice per day as she driver them away. No wonder they have already quite big teeth and claws. When all of them eat on Valentina, she tries to hold as soon as they start to bite and scratc, she runs away.

Four Weeks - Show Begins!
8th December 2022 - The puppies have been one-month old and up to now they have spent it eating and sleeping but they gently start to change the behavior and start playing around. We converted the small dog pen into a bigger one to make them more space to run and play.
They are capable to eat from a bowl with almost no food loss which last week was all over theri furs. But they quickly understood that it is more convenient to eat and not to make mess because they are eight in number and the goodies will quickly end up in theri sibling's stomach. They also tried dog pellets for the first time and they definitely love it.
Dog collars and leashes are ready yet for their layettes and they were hand made by Vera Markova. This time in colors and geometric shapes. Big thanks to her.

Three Weeks Flew Fast
1st December 2022 - One can only understand with these babies how the time flies quickly. I have the impression like it was yesterday ehwn they were born and it has already benn three weeks since our gods descended to the earth.
The content of a tree-week old puppy is eating, eating and eating as well sleeping, sleeping and sleeping. Then to discover a bit to see what is going on around as all their senses woke up. They watch and listem to all noses. They start to play together. Of course their game is most of the time biting one's another head, paws and all that comes on the way.
When talking of biting I also have to mention that they have teeth as well. The time has come to start feeding them with something different than mother's milk only. The babies have tasted their first linch consisting minced beef meat and I have to admin that they are real predators. The meat was everywhere - they literally bathed in it because they haven't understood yet how to stand next to the bowl nad did not stop walking into it. They enjoyed it a lot. Me slightly less. I had to wash them all, tidy up the bed but the following days will be certainly better and because after very nap they become stronger and surer of themselves and they posture and walk is more stable.
As usual I attach weight chart and a few pictures of the whole week. I suppose the meal pictures will perfectly define the situation. In the main picture there are hand-made toys that will be given to every puppy as a part of the layette. They were made with love by Petra Hlisnikovská and I want to thank her by this meas!

We Are Fourteen Days Old
24th November 2022 - The time has come when we can take away the identifying collars. Each puppy has started to color up and manifest the character. All of them grow well, they have a strong appetite and Valentina the Mother has enough milk to feed them all.. She is an example mother. The primal duty has left her and she dares to leave them for a while and run around with the rest of the pack. Anyhow, she prefers to rest close to her babies. Taking care of 8 bugs is exhusting. She copes it all alone. I only feed her quality meat and goodies to support her milk augmentation and maintain the nest in cleanness.
Whwn the puppies reach their 14 days, they start to open their eyes. We always bet at home who will be the first one. This year no one guessed right. The first open eyes appeared with Nanynka followed by Odik and Lukin. The rest is not ready yet. But it is just a question of 1 - 2 days.
The other day, it was sunny so I let the Mommy and her babies soak the sunrays and took this opportunity to take a few pictures. I also attach an indispensable chart of their weight gain.

Puppies Are One Week Old
17th November 2022 - Our little creatures received them names and today is the day when they celebrate the first week of their life. The life that we can all be envious of as they only eat, sleep and enjoy being pampered by Vaentina the Mommy who is such an angel. She has enought quality milk and the puppies have already doubled their weight. They are such healthy and strong babies.
As they grow, they smothly reveal their color and indeed, it is a show. We can perceive a huge range of shades with a different rate of annealing. I cannot believe my eyes that something like this could happen and I am in a awe!

14th November 2022 - Pippes are active. I will present you each of the pippies in their birth order. I mention the birth weight as well as their "temporary" names, color marking and zhe name of the pedigre. The puppies got zhe names after northern mythology gods and consodering the fact that the breed had to start with letter "E", Icalled them all Eternal - and this is the way gods are.

56th day of pregnancy - 8th week
4th November 2022 - We are smoothly approaching the end of the 8th week of pregnancy. The foetuses grow very fast, they are more than 75% birth size and measure 140 mm. The organs of puppies are already developed. Lungs are the last organ to be developed. The body is covered with hair, the hair is less visible on their paws. Claws are fully developed and the skin pigmentation start to occur. The movements of foetuses are visible and tangible. If the female dog is lying, we can see the foetuses as well. Valentina relaxes a lot and looks for a convenient birth place. She still has a good appetite.

28th October 2022 - It has been 7 weeks of pregnancy. A fast development of embryos continue. The uterus takes 2/3 of the abdominal cavity. The X-ray shows skeletons of puppies and we can see an exact number of embryos. We count skulls and backbones of puppies which measure approximately 85 mm and average 75% birth size. Hair on the bodies of embryos continue to grow intensively. Valentina gains weight, a mammary gland gets bigger and the hair on it thins and is falling out. In this period a female can start losing her appetite as embryos push on her inner organs and especially on her digestive system. But it is not Valentine's case. She still enjoys her food!

42nd day of pregnancy - 6th week
21st October 2022 - Smoothly but surely we are ending the 6th week of pregnancy. It's the period of a very fast fetus development. We can see the first movements on ultrasound. The feti have 30% total birth weight and they measure approximately 65 mm. The sexual system of puppies begin to develop, the ossification of bones continue. We can notice first signs of hair on their heads. Valentina starts to gain weight, the uterus and the region around ribs get bigger as well. I can also observe a slight enlargement of a mammary gland. The bitch is getting calmer and more vigilant.

35th day of pregnancy - 5th week
14th October 2022 - We are in the middle of pregnancy, the embryo turns into the fetus. The fetus resembles a lot a miniatute dog and has approximately 20% birth size. It measures around 27 mm. The shape of the fetus has changed from an egg shape to a round one. All the main organs have already developed and we can see the heartbeat on ultrasound. The scull and jaw ossification are finished, the whiskers begin to grow on the foreface. The toes start to grow, the ossification of nose area, ribs and limb bones is in process. The dead fetus can be reabsorbed by the 35th day, later it leaves as a miscarried litter during the birth.

The secret of Valentina's belly was revealed today. The love that set the fire on 9th of September far away in Holland brought the expected fruit, and that the father of our beloved Valentina's last litter is going to be a wonderful Norwegian nobleman
