19th June 2021 - After covid show pause, girls and I finally headed to a show. Our home club "greyhound Breeders Club of English Racing Races" organized a traditional show-coursing weekend "FOR BEAUTY AND PERFORMANCE". We took part only in a Saturday show as during this one year covid madness we were not able to complete oue coursing license, unfortunately. Hopefully next year.
Anyhow, the show was full of success, as usual. It took place at the bank of the Slapy Dam and considering the 30 degree temp, it was the most ideal place. I brought to the expo the two adult whippets Valentina and Berroo and the youngest backup Lisboa who is just getting her feet under the table. As we are in habit of taking part in most taken classes, after one year break and Valentina's pregnancy, I did not give us high chances. What is more my surprise about the results. Valentina gained heavy champion class three months after giving the birth. She is just incredible. And Berroo took hold of the bronze in an open class, it is a dream! It was a successful Saturday also for the fact that two dogs of the same litter "A" passed the bonitation which was the part of the exposition with the result - a stud dog.
